Frogner House - Bygdøy Allé

The house itself was classy and my one person studio was very cosy. I expected it to be smaller, but it was just about the right size! And the bed aaaah! Just perfect: not too hard/not too soft and enough pillows to choose from.

Great location. Other than an oven, had a fully functional kitchen in the room.

Great location 10-15min by bus or tram to the city center. Bus station in front of the apartment. Clean and comfortable room/beds. Eventhough there is no physical reception within the building, we easy managed to check-in at the machine. However, be aware that there is no phiysical staff at the location to directly talk to, so if you have some questions you will have to call or to send E-mail and wait for a feedback.

The phone line that is avalibe 24/7 was really helpful. They told us about BOLT app that help us a lot with getting super affordable taxi (under 10e). They were super kind, and spoke good english. The room had space, kitchen had everything except the cutting board. The bed was so so comfy. The bathroom was also practical and a nice design. The architecture of the building is breathtaking. The check in and check out is nicely done in the end of a hall right when you walk into the building. The luggage room in the basement was also helpful. The bus line 30 and 31 can get you into the city center right from the Forgner Kirke stop, which is just across the hotel infront of a church.

It’s a beautiful residential building in a really nice and quiet neighbourhood. It’s not in town but it’s only a 10’ bus ride away. And there is plenty of restaurants 10’ walking from the house. The room (it’s not really an apartment) is nicely decorated and it’s all new and shiny. They don’t clean the room but they change the towels every 3 days. The kitchenette is useful if you want to make a cup of tea or keep something in the fridge. I wouldn’t cook in there as it’s not even a studio but a hotel room. Also it’s very easy to do the check in. You don’t see anyone, but you don’t really need to
